Back Pain

Back pain is one of the most common reasons people come to see me. It can build slowly or arrive suddenly, and it rarely has just one cause.

Looking at the whole picture

I don't see back pain as a problem in one spot. For me, it's a signal worth listening to. When you come in, we'll talk about more than where it hurts: how you sleep, how you sit and move through your day, your work, and what's been going on in your life. Stress and tension often come up in these conversations, and I make time for them.

How I work

I'm trained in McTimoney chiropractic, a gentle, whole-body technique using light, precise adjustments (Find out more about McTimoney). I'll look at how your spine, pelvis and the rest of your body are working together, rather than focusing only on the painful area.

Alongside treatment, I'll share simple guidance on posture, breathing and movement, so the care carries on at home.

Your first visit

We start with a conversation and an examination, including any relevant tests. If chiropractic is right for you, you may have your first treatment the same day. If I think someone else is better placed to help, such as your GP, I'll tell you.
